At Subaru, we believe what we leave behind is a reflection of who we are. That's why Subaru and our retailers partner with the Arbor Day Foundation (TM) to provide and distribute 100,000 regionally appropriate trees across the country. We're proud to establish the largest corporate tree distribution ever. Through this and other Subaru Loves the Earth initiatives, Subaru and our retailers have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees.

Health
Subaru believes we should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. That's why for the past 10 years, Subaru and its retailers like us have partnered with Blood Cancer United® and our local hospital or cancer treatment center to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope, written by our staff and customers to support patients facing cancer. Through our efforts during this decade-long partnership, we've supported nearly 500,000 cancer patients nationwide. Together, we are proud to be Blood Cancer United's largest automotive donor.
Subaru and its retailers, like us, are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning(R) by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are needed to help students thrive in the classroom.

Subaru believes all pets deserve a loving home. That's why retailers like us partner with our local animal welfare organization every October to provide direct financial assistance through a grant distributed by the ASPCA® and host pet events to help animals find loving homes. Through our partnership with local and national organizations, Subaru has donated over $70 million, supporting the rescue, adoption, and health of over 700,000 animals. We're proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.

Subaru and its retailers believe in giving back to our communities. That's why for every new vehicle sold or leased during the Subaru Share the Love event, Subaru and its retailers, like us, makes a donation to national charities that our owners care about and to over 2,700 local charities where Subaru owners live and work.
Now, after 17 years, Subaru and our retailers have donated nearly $320 million to charity all to give back and to make the world a better place.

Marin Subaru Loves Pets and Supports Marin Humane - Tina L.
Here at Marin Subaru, we love our pets, your pets and finding furever homes for the animals at Marin Humane. We are pet-friendly and welcome your furry friends as you shop or wait for vehicle service. We have an ongoing pet food drive where we encourage people to bring in unopened pet food and treats to be donated to Marin Humane. So far this year we have donated over 2000 lbs of pet food, thanks to generous people like you. Every October is Subaru Loves Pets month and we really ramp up our support for the sweet animals at Marin Humane.

During Subaru Love Promise event, Marin Subaru donated dozens of tree saplings to Mady's Tree Care. In return Francisco, the owner of Mady's Tree Care, provided complimentary saplings to their customers.

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in San Rafael, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Marin Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Marin Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/21/2025, Marin Subaru donated 120 coats to Center for Domestic Peace. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

This Subaru Loves Pets Month Marin Subaru ran a pet food drive all month to donate to Marin Humane Center, as well as teaming up with us for Loves Pets month and donating money per new car sold in October. Their generosity will help our animals not only get adopted but stay fed.
Subaru Loves to Care initiative - Kofo M.
For the past several years, Marin Subaru has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Marin General - Integrative Wellness Center through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering 80 comfy blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. This initiative has spread so much hope, love, and warmth to cancer patients in this local community! On June 6th, Olivia Garcia and Alexis Taylor of Subaru personally delivered these items for staff to hand out to patients in treatment. The hospital staff were incredibly grateful for the gracious donation. Alison Garret, Manager, Integrative Wellness Center at Marin Health was very appreciative of the blanket drop and the ongoing partnership with LLS and Subaru. Blankets will be delivered throughout their cancer services in infusion, radiology, resource/support center and upcoming survivorship education series. It was such a heartwarming experience for everyone who attended the blanket drop off! Thank you Subaru! :)

Here at The Marine Mammal Center, we are thrilled to celebrate a year of partnership with Marin Subaru! Subaru’s commitment to environmental stewardship, including their zero-landfill production plants, aligns perfectly with our goals of marine conservation. In June of 2023, Marin Subaru generously donated a Subaru Ascent beautifully adorned with the images of some of the marine mammals in our care. Since then, the “Seal-Baru” has become not just a vehicle, but a symbol of collaboration and dedication to marine mammal conservation. From gracing political summits on ocean protection to being an integral part of the journey of our patients back to the wild, the Seal-Baru has done it all. It's not just transporting people; it's ferrying a message of conservation, education, and hope. Each mile driven is a step forward in our shared mission to protect our oceans and their inhabitants. Together with Marin Subaru, we're not just fulfilling the Subaru Love Promise; we're creating a legacy of love and care for our marine ecosystem.
